Memorial Glade is located in front of Doe Library and located on top of David Gardener Stacks. Being a central location on the UC Berkeley campus, it allows students to gather together to hangout, relax, study or even take a nap. Many groups on campus also utilize Memorial Glade as a place to hold meetings or eve.
Memorial Glade was built in 1998. Along with offering Berkeley students a place to relax between classes, Memorial Glade also serves as a monument that honors those whose lives were lost during World War II.
